MARK TONNER’S TRAINING
ABOUT ME:
I served 15 years as an infantry soldier where I went all around the world, in hostile environments and surrounded by different cultures and adapting myself to them. I was injured in Afghanistan 2010 and lost the use of my right arm. Since then, I have adapted my training and my ability using my moto, Mind over Body. Pushing myself and others to the limit daily. with my model of training, I have trained the BritishOlympic team, British disabled team, Triathletes, Strongmenand people with and without limitations. I focus on training the mind first and then the body.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Deadlift Challenge lift for life
For the last 3 years I’ve undertook the hardest challenge I’ve set myself. 24 hours deadlift challenge and raised money for a number of different charities
Memorial war - to raise money for fallen soldiers, Me and a small team walked from Marne (Catterick north Yorkshire) to Chester castle over a series of 4 days with a total of 154 miles walked. where we raised over £13,000
Iron man 2014 - part of the team true spirit, they are a disabled team where we took part in the ruling triathlon, the iron man, which involved a 2.2-mile swim, 112-mile bike race and a 26.2-mile marathon.
Highland games - part of a help for heroes’ team. we competed at the Mey games/highland games. which contained a series of highland games events?
Wounded highlanders since 2019- formed from the Mey games, we are a collection of wounded, ill or sick veterans where we compete in highland games where i currently hold world records.
4x World’s strongest disabled man comp- where i will still be competing in the foreseeable future.
5x Britain’s strongest disabled man- where i will still be competing in the foreseeable future.
3x England strongest disabled man- where i will still be competing in the foreseeable future.
